Thanks to the latest technology available to film industry folks, audiences are in line to watch the late legends of the film industry on-screen in a ‘fresh’ avatar. The legendary comedian Nagesh, who is no more amidst us, would be seen in superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming 3-D animation venture Kochadaiiyaan. Sources close to the Unit say that Nagesh’s role is quite a ‘significant’ one in the context of the film’s script.
The upcoming romantic comedy titled Yennamo Yedho starring Gautham Karthik and the sizzling Rakul Preet Singh, which is a remake of the Telugu hit film Ala Modalaindi, is to feature the late and legendary MGR, the indisputable superstar in the worlds of films and politics in Tamil Nadu, in a ‘special appearance’.
Director Ravi Thyagarajan is quite excited about Yennamo Yedho. “The whole world knows that MGR was very fond of the sport of boxing and had taken part in many boxing competitions and tournaments as a special invitee. Our film has a boxing competition featuring yesteryear’s hero Prabhu and Vincent Asokan. We are proud to say that we have MGR ‘taking part’ in this competition,” he said
