Nanditha replaces Manisha in Seenu Ramasamy’s Idam Porul Eval

Fast-progressing Nanditha has replaced the controversial Manisha Yadav as the heroine in national award-winning director Seenu Ramasamy’s next directorial venture titled as Idam Porul Eval. The film has Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu essaying lead roles.

It was Manisha Yadav who was signed up as Vijay’s heroine in the film; however, she was removed from the film after she complained of ‘sexual harassment’ by Seenu Ramasamy. Within a few days, however, Manisha retraced her statement and said that she wasn’t removed from the film but opted out on her own as she found the climate in Kodaikkanal too ‘chilly’ to continue to shoot there.

As a result, Nanditha has now been signed up to replace Manisha. Seeenu had earlier claimed that Manisha wasn’t found suitable to essay a typical village belle’s role and that was the reason he decided to oust her from the film. Nanditha, who has already starred opposite Vijay in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, gets her second film opposie Vijay in less than six months’ time.

Hunt is said to be on for a heroine opposite Vishnu. Vairamuthu pens the lyrics to music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is the first time that Vairamuthu is writing lyrics in Yuvan’s music. Director Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers produces the film.
