Soundarya in China to receive ‘master print’ of Kochadaiiyaan

Soundarya Rajinikanth-Ashwin, the debutant director of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming 3-D animation venture Kochadaiiyaan, is in China where the ‘master print’ of the film is being readied.

Made using the ‘motion capture technology’ in photo-realistic mode, the film’s final phase of post-production work (including the fine-tuning of 3-D sequences) has been going on in China for the past few weeks. The work is about to be completed in a few days’ time from now.

Sondarya had earlier claimed during the press-meet held on the afternoon of the film’s audio-launch held a few days back that the actual film would have more realistic-looking sequences than the trailer which itself looked nothing short of mind-blowing. The work in China is being supervised by a special team of technicians who usually work only for Hollywood films.

As Kochadaiiyaan is to be sent to the Censor Board for certification, Soundarya left for the Chinese capital Beijing yesterday to take possession of the film’s ‘master print’. She is also likely to release another trailer of the film before the film is finally released in theatres on 11th April.
