Good times are here for veterean actor Sathyaraj

It is a trend in the film industry to market the whole project with the face of the lead actor in every possible way. However, what some fail to recognize is the importance of the supporting actor who in most of the cases is overshadowed in the popularity of bigger names. Such is the case of Puratchi Thamizhan Sathyaraj who presently is basking in the laurels of his simultaneous big box office releases in Bollywood with Chennai Express and down South with the release of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s -Thalaivaa.

Both the projects have a very big market to cater to and there is no doubt that even if one of them fails to do much business the other may easily balance the game for veteran Sathyaraj, who feels blessed to be part of such films irrespective of regional prejudices.

Adding yet another feather to his illustrious career, the Shahrukh feature Chennai Express in itself will release across 4250+ screens worldwide. It would be distributed in 55 plus nations and approximately 10+ languages. Likewise, Thalaivaa is also eyeing close to 1500 screens, if the Tamil and Telugu versions are accounted for.

That gives you an idea of the massive reach Sathyaraj enjoys with the release of these highly prestigious projects. A Tamilian Don in Chennai Express, he would be seen in a Godfather inspired character for Thalaivaa. Undoubtedly, this moment will surely push his market by miles.
