Actor-cum-politician Sarath Kumar has always tasted success doing dual roles, with his earlier films like ‘Suryavamsam’, ‘Nattamai’ and ‘Natpukaga’. Amidst his busy political career, Sarathkumar has now announced his new film titled ‘Sandamaarudham’, in which he will be seen in dual roles.
The interesting news is that his one of the roles would be the lead villain role in the film. Touted as a mega budget project, the film is being produced by ‘Magic Frames’ banner owned by Listin Stephen.
Directed by A Venkatesh, who has earlier directed Sarathkumar in ‘Maha Prabhu’, ‘Aei’ and ‘Sanakya’, the story for the film has been written by Sarathkumar himself. Popular Tamil crime novelist Rajeshkumar will write the screenplay and dialogues while N.S.Udhaykumar will handle the camera and V.T.Vijayan will take care of Editing.
Radhika Sarathkumar and Samuthirakkani will be donning prominent roles in the film. This film also marks the debut of Arun Sagar, a popular Kannada actor, in Tamil films, Rest of the cast will include Vijayakumar, Radharavi, Iman Annachi, Delhi Ganesh and others.
James Vasanthan will be scoring the music. ‘Sandamaarudham’ is expected to go to floors on May 14 and is likely to release in August.
