Director Reema Kagti keen on casting ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut with Chote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan for her next

While her Vikas Bahl directorial venture ‘Queen’ managed to earn actress Kangana Ranaut, both critical as well as commercial success, her last release ‘Revolver Rani’ directed by Sai Kabir, failed to click at the box-office. However, the same has not stopped the makers from approaching the talented and versatile actress, with plum offers. Recently, Kangana refused director Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming venture ‘Durga Rani Singh’, although initially agreeing to be a part of the project.

Though Kangana was required to essay the central character in Sujoy’s movie, which would have given her enough scope to showcase her acting histrionics, prior commitments forced the actress to let go the offer. According to the latest reports, Kangana is presently based in New York, busy completing her script writing course.

However, there is one more offer awaiting the actress, after she returns back from New York. Director Reema Kagti of Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Talaash’ fame has narrated the script of her new project to Kangana, before the actress flew to the US. The movie to be produced by Excel Entertainment has, actor Saif Ali Khan essaying the male lead. Impressed by her work in ‘Queen’, Reema was keen to sign Kangana in her upcoming venture, as also, for the fact that, Saif and Kangana will make for a unique and interesting pairing. The final call will be taken by Kangana once she returns from New York in July.
