Sivakarthikeyan’s Maan Karate bags U certificate

The Regional Censor Board officials have awarded ‘U’ certificate to Maan Karate, the upcoming film starring Sivakarthikeyan and Hansika in lead roles. The film is all set to release this Friday (4th April).

Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a roll with a hat-trick of successes last year, is gearing up for the release of his first film of the year in the form of Maan Karate. The film has raised quite a few expectations as it features for the first time a top heroine Hansika opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the film’s music which has been praised by music-lovers and critics.

Tirukkumaran, who had been working as an assistant director under A.R. Murugadoss, turns director with Maan Karate and has been greatly aided by his mentor who has not only penned the film’s story and screenplay but also has co-produced the film. Suri and Sathish, who have shared excellent on-screen space with Sivkarthikeyan in his earlier films, are playing major roles in the film.

After watching the film, the Censors have issued a clean ‘U’ certificate to the film, giving a big boost the producers. The Censor Board officials lauded the efforts of the debutant director who has stayed away from penning double-meaning dialogues in the name of pleasing the masses.
